Children's Ministry

Worship, art, Music (WAM)

Worship, Art, and Music (WAM) is a children’s ministry of art and music that meets at 9:30 Sunday mornings in Heritage Hall. Children and youth volunteers grow in faith together as they create art and music inspired by their own experiences and perspectives. WAM kids regularly share their art and music as active participants in the church services. While we think of WAM as a children’s ministry, taking part in worship with children is a ministry that touches the entire church.

During worship, children are invited to remain in the sanctuary and participate in worship with the rest of the congregation.  Activity bags may be found in the narthex (the back) and by the lectern door (the door at the front right of the sanctuary).  The activity bags contain coloring pencils, a note pad, and worship bulletins from Illustrated Children’s Ministry with word searches, word scrambles, connect-the-dots, and lots of creative coloring opportunities!  During the Word to the Children, children are invited to the front of the sanctuary for a special message.
